How big is Milwaukee Airport?
I have a plane change in Milwaukee and 1/2 an hour between flights, and want to know if it's big enough that i will have to run to make my flight.

30 minutes is not alot of time, no matter which airport you're at. If you aren't changing carrier, it might be ok. If you are switching carriers, you probably need to run. See when the airline says arrive at a certain time, that is when the plane physically touches down, not when the door opens. If you are in the back of the plane, it may take 20 minutes before you even get out of the plane. Never do less than 1 hour between connecting flights.

Depends on if you have to change terminals or carriers. Same terminal shouldn't be too much trouble, but a bit of a rush. Swithing carriers and/or terminals and you have no hope in Milwaukee. You have to rescreen through security to move from one terminal to another.

What is the cheapest place to book a flight from WI to San Diego, CA for three weeks from now

What is the cheapest place to book a flight from WI to San Diego, CA for three weeks from now?
My friend is having a last minute wedding in CA - and asked me to be a bridesmaid/witness. I live in Wisconsin, so need to fly out of either Milwaukee, Appleton, or Green Bay. I am flying to San Diego, CA. The dates are May 15-17. I need to arrive in CA by 6pmish (or before). Someone help me please??? I am a full-time student if that saves any on fares.

Most of the internet websites are not charging booking fees currently. I always use kayak.com as a first reference point, then if there's a booking fee, move direct to the airline website to book/buy the ticket. David Rowell http://www.thetravelinsider.info

Try Jet Blue, Southwest, and TravelZoo. There have been some fantastic rates lately.
3 :
I've found that Southwest has the best prices for last minute flights.

Your best bet is to go to Sidestep.com and do a search. It searches numerous sources at once. You can also try Priceline.com, but use the name your own price and go about $100 less than the lowest price on Sidestep for a starting price. You may get lucky. The regular search on priceline, by the way, usually won't reveal anything cheaper than other mass search sites. Sidestep has been, for me, far more helpful than orbitz, expedia, travelocity, etc. It's more thorough, and usually finds better deals. Also, there are several sites that do "last minute travel" searches for weekend trips that can find sometimes cheaper flight packages. Flying midweek is always cheaper, because there's less demand. Being willing to take a red-eye flight can save you a lot of money as well. My husband saved $211 by taking a flight that went through the night. We figured, he'd be sleeping anyway, so why not save the money?
5 :
try midwest airlines from green bay to la and then take a commuter plane down from la to sd
6 :
Sometimes your friends/family might get discount rates if they are union members or are AAA members. You might check with your family to see if you can get a discount if they buy the ticket and you re-imburse them.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://bookme.com/flights.php and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

What is the most unique thing you've done to cover up your farts in public

What is the most unique thing you've done to cover up your farts in public?
One time I had to take an over night flight from Tucson to Milwaukee. It some how gave me an extremely painful case of gas. So what I did is I pretended to be sleeping during the entire flight. And every time the enigines would get to their loudest, I'd just let my farts rip hoping no one would hear or they would think I really was sleeping while it happened. What's the most creative thing you've done to cover up your farts in public?

4 :

5 :
I couldn't cover up my fart Although i try to control and expel in private, but sometime ..

This isn't my story but anyway..... My grandma always seems to fart in supermarkets so she's invented this ingenious plan. She 'accidentally' drops an item of food and as my papa bends to pick it up she let's one rip. Papa looks guilty already but to add insult to injury my grandma says really loudly 'awwwwww Peter!!!!!' then just walks off. Classic grandma <3

damn that was creative lol, I think the most creative I have gotten is coughing or just doing it but pretending i didn't hear it or carrying on as normal so no one thinks it is me. Lad i know waited for a loud bass bit in his music then let one rip, he had his i-pod in lol

I doubt there is any. Have you tried going to the airport web site? the suburbs are horrid for public transportation

Do you know how to get to O'Hare? There is hourly bus service from O'Hare to MKE. See: http://www.coachusa.com/CoachUsaAssets/files/105/Airport%20Express.pdf Can you get to Glenview? There is Amtrak service from Glenview to the Milwaukee Airport: http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/BlobServer?blobcol=urldata&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobkey=id&blobwhere=1249208725100&blobheader=application%2Fpdf&blobheadername1=Content-disposition&blobheadervalue1=attachment;filename=Amtrak_W23.pdf If you can get to the Metra UP North line and take a train to Kenosha, there are also possibilities from there, but the route is very circuitous and may not get you there on time. http://www.coachusa.com/CoachUsaAssets/files/105/Kenosha%20and%20Racine.pdf Also, consider a one-way car rental. Rent a car the night before, drive it to work, and then drive right to the airport. I have rented Avis cars for this purpose and the rate was quite reasonable, but I do have a corporate rate. By the way, parking is only $5 per day at the "Super Saver" lot: http://www.mitchellairport.com/parking/

Van Galder bus is Janesville Wisconsin. They service all airports and pick up at many locations in Illinois. Call them.
