Best way to get to Milwaukee WI from Hartford CT.?
I want to visit a relative a bit more frequent but as I am only a student I am a bit strapped for cash. Does anyone know the best way for me to travel there for say 3 day weekends (friday-sunday). I have looked into trains which appear to almost be as much as a flight. But I only know of amtrak. Are there other train lines I can take? Or would a bus be better?

Unfortunately Amtrak is the only intercity train service in the United States. Did you look into Amtrak's student discounts? http://www.amtrak.com
